Mookhi

Olympia Henshaw (born 1994 May 20th) is a Sydney based composer, producer, and electronic musician known under her stage name Mookhi. Using a myriad launch pad, MIDI controllers and effects, she is able to build unusual and lush tapestries of sound live that are unique with every performance.

Her ethereal and ghost-like vocals are treated simply as another layer of sound, adding to the eerily beautiful collage of motifs and broken beats, both rich and complex in nature.

Since the release of Lost & Found, Mookhi has been beating the live path around the country supporting the likes of Tora, Vallis Alps and Golden Vessel and taking part in events such as Vivid Festival – Women In Electronic Music & her first Splendour In The Grass appearance as well as supporting Bishop Briggs on her national Splendour sideshow run. Next up is a national tour as main support for ‘Luke Millions’ while weaving together tracks for the next EP, working a few remix projects & some very interesting collaborations. Stay Tuned.
