Poppa Jax is a Wahine Māori nō te iwi o Ngāti Raukawa. This talented DJ calls Tāmaki Makaurau her home & musical playground. She’s been full throttle since returning from her Australia tour with friends, Katayanagi Twins. Playing show’s all over Aotearoa some of which include Soundsplash, Splore & local club nights Filth & Nympho. She’s opened for icons such as Jyoty, Girls Don’t Sync & Pxssy Palace.
Her musical repertoire is as diverse as it is electrifying, spanning genres like Baile Funk, Afro House, Global Club, and anything that brings the heat to the dance floor. With her meteoric rise, Poppa Jax is a weapon & one to keep an eye on.
